I did previous packaging years ago.
A review is of course always welcome.
As upstream is Debian-friendly, the maintainer work is very low
and for upcoming release debian/rules would be even shorter;
and it's a very slowly moving target anyway,
but SDL1- > SDL2 migration is nice.
I have no feedback from the bug submiter who requested the upgrade.
