mgba: team upload or salvage? (was: Bug#960162: RFS: mgba/0.8.1+dfsg-1)

Dear Games Team,

Thanks for your interest in the package. I'd suggest to start the Salvaging
process if

* you are really interested in maintaining it
* the package is suitable for Salvaging (see definitions in Developers

* no one has objection on salvaging in the Games Team

(Even though I'm in the Games Team, I'm speaking on behalf of myself this
time. This email copy is also sent to Sergio.)

I use mgba regularly and follow its development, and I am interested in maintaining it over time.

I have tried to contact Sérgio, and did my best to CC him on all relevant messages, but never got any response.

Personally I'd prefer to join the Games Team and co-maintain mgba inside the team. I'm also interested in working on related packages such as retroarch. I don't know what the conditions/process for joining are, and Boyuan is the only team member who replied to my RFS bug so far.

Please advise whether it's possible to join the team and be a co-maintainer of mgba, or whether I should just file an ITS bug and pursue the salvaging process.

Thank you!

Ryan
