I'll note that the established way to inform the maintainer
(and everyone else who might be interested) that testing migration
is blocked by a problem in the package is by filing an RC bug.
An obvious example is that likely soon someone from Ubuntu
will check why 8.0-1 did FTBFS for them on armhf and arm64.
