Thanks, this looks interesting :)  I just filed an Intent-to-Package bug
(#771057) and it looks like Arasan will not be too hard to package up -
its source seems pretty self-contained, it built from the first try,
there's just some tweaking of the Makefile to let it accept our compiler
settings and stuff.  Well, yeah, there are the two optional analyzers,
I'll see if we have the right to have them included... okay, so Gaviota
is already available in Debian as libgaviotatb1 :)

The only real question that I shall contact the author with is how to build
the openings book file that is included in the Arasan binary distribution;
there is a basic.pgn definition in the source tree, but it seems a bit too
small to generate the book.bin file in the binary package.
