Hello !

Time went by, and lo, I noticed I was added to the pkg-games team on Alioth.

To tell a bit about myself and the package, I am working with some
fellows on a new version of the "mame" arcade game emulator.

We aim to replace the 5 years old and dead unix-fork x-mame of the
debian archive, as the unix/sdl and win32 mame version merged upstream
under the "mame" name.

Mame is non-free unfortunately, the license is a copyleft one, but no
commercial use is allowed.

Jordi Mallach ( jordi@ )has kindly reviewed our package and uploaded it
in the NEW queue two weeks ago for experimental

I was told on #debian-games that it's fine to migrate the git repository
used for developing the package to alioth, following the instructions
from the debian wiki.

I would like also to create a debian repository in a subfolder of
http://pkg-games.alioth.debian.org
to host binaries I build as a kind of ppa.
Is that OK ?

We would need this especially to work on the upgrade path x-mame -> mame
which is broken right now.

Manu
