A place to store packages that are larger than X MB so as to not
inconvenience Debian mirrors, the Debian CD team and others. This is
especially a problem for games (like Vegastrike or Ryzom) and
scientific data sets. In addition there is the problem for both of
these of data duplication between the source and binary packages.
There have been several threads on this and other lists about it.
