Packaging emulators in DGT - gmameui, pcsx2, Mupen64

Hi,
I've been following the debian-devel-games list for a few months, since I'm interested in working on games in Debian and Ubuntu (I also subscribed to pkg-games-devel for a while, but I stopped the mail delivery for that list, as there's too much spam in it to sort out - trying to read the list archives is also impossible).

With an emulator like desmume already maintained by the team, I'd like to know if there's any interest maintaining some more emulators (or emulator-related packages) within the team.

I've opened an ITP for gmameui, a front-end for MAME at Bug#531450. I'm also interested in packaging pcsx2 (the ITP owner confirmed by email he gave up on this one), but since it's a huge undertaking, I'll need help for this one, and will first try to integrate with the team and package gmameui, which is simpler. I was also interested in Mupen64, there's already an ITP open at http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=513322, but the owner might be interested in maintaining it in a team).

I'm not sure what's required to join the team. I've touched a few packages on the Ubuntu side, and am getting used to Debian way of doing things.

Loïc
