Talking about feedback...

Hi,

Now that there's a discussion on the functioning of debian-games, let me try
to add my €0.02 .. hopefully without sounding too whiny..

I've asked for sponsorship on gtkradiant (editor for quake, doom, nexuiz,
tremulous etc.) a bit over a year ago (in fact wnpp says "499 days in
preparation"). Sometimes, when I have time, I try to keep the package
up-to-date (I have SVN access but I normally never use it). But I personally
find the lack of feedback quite demotivating. Could a debian-games DD please
comment, and give a reason why it hasn't been uploaded yet?

It doesn't even have to be a good reason. If you don't like the package or
packaging that's fine too, but I did my best packaging that program and I
would appreciate the courtesy of communicating back to me. Even just a
short "we haven't yet had time" or "nobody would use that program" or "we
don't like the way you stuffed the example files in" suffices.

Thanks.

Good luck with Debian Games and retaining the packagers,
Frits Daalmans

PS: now that I wrote this, I looked at the svnbuildstat to see that it doesn't
compile anymore .. oops..
