Version: 4.08-3
Distribution: unstable
Urgency: low
Maintainer: David Coe <davidc@debian.org>
Changed-By: David Coe <davidc@debian.org>
Description:
 oo-browser - Object Oriented Class Browser (for emacsen)
Closes: 137507 146367 217659 230421
Changes:
 oo-browser (4.08-3) unstable; urgency=low
 .
   * debian/rules: define LONG_OPTIONS for ootags so it compiles with
     long options support; also define HAVE_UNISTD_H because we do.
     Closes: #217659 "C functions missing because ootags invoked with long option names"
   * br-c++-ft.el: thanks to Michael Welsh Duggan <md5i@cs.cmu.edu>,
     patched to correct a bug that missed some valid C++ methods of
     the form:
         void NormApp::Notify(NormController::Event event,
                        class NormSessionMgr* sessionMgr,
                        class NormSession*    session,
                        class NormServerNode* server,
                        class NormObject*     object) {...}
     Closes: #230421 "Fix method misclassification in C++"
   * debian/postinst: remove any obsolete oo-browser symlinks from emacsen
     site-start.d directories
     Closes: #146367 "leaves dangling symlink in xemacs21 startup dir"
   * debian/TODO: Updated, and removed rant about the text line (verbatim)
     "OO Browser Graphical Viewer\n\nCopyright (c) ....\n\nMore legal stuff, stuff, stuff and stuff....",
     found in one of the source files (tree-w32/oobr.rc). It's clearly
     not a claim of copyright that conflicts with the GPL (there's no
     copyright date, and no copyright holder mentioned); it's probably
     just a copyright template inserted by some windows IDE. Upstream
     author did not respond to my request for explanation.
   * The xemacs21 package removed its 'ootags' on Wed, 15 May 2002, in
     xemacs21 package version 21.4.8-1, so it no longer causes confusion
     Closes: #137507 "alternatives problem with /usr/bin/ootags"
   * debian/control: improve the description
   * /debian/rules, debian/control, debian/compat, debian/conffiles:
     changed/added/removed because we now use debhelper v4.
