 .
   * Bump Standards-Version to 3.5.8.
   * Remove extra work for compatibility with Debian potato and switch to
     debhelper V4.
   * Honor $DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS.
   * Use proper arch names from dpkg-architecture for configure.
   * New Debian policy doesn't require the package to ask whether to create
     the device node, only to notify the user, which is done using debconf
     now (closes: #177277).
   * Do not attempt to create device node on devfs (closes: #166425).
