i am quite busy with my elastic and psycopg packages nowdays. you can:

1. package the new release and do an NMU; or
2. adopt drgenius
.
2 is better, imo. i lost some interest in drgenius when they removed the
calculator... :(

volunteer?

an unimplemented AM macro
collected macros/gnome-orbit-check.m4, macors/gnome-gnorba-check.m4 and
macros/gnome.m4 into acinclude.m4 as suggested by automake.info
recreated aclocal.m4 via aclocal
called autoconf
recreated all file Makefile.in via automake
recreated config.guess, config.sub and ltmain.sh via libtoolize
according to http://people.debian.org/~willy/common_bugs.html

* removed dh_testversion from debian/rules because it is deprecated
* wrote manpage
* droped drgenius-dev package because the Genius plugin support seems
to be removed
* changed program description because the calculator part was droped.

This has been removed for now as this code is unmaintained (the
code is still in the dr-genius module of the CVS).
* Included upstream source URL into description because I consider this
good style.
* Corrected debian/menu and provided an menu icon
