Source: kernel-patch-2.2.10-m68k
Binary: kernel-patch-2.2.10-m68k
Architecture: source all
Version: 2.2.10-7
Distribution: unstable
Urgency: low
Maintainer: Nick Holgate <holgate@debian.org>
Description:
kernel-patch-2.2.10-m68k - Diffs to the kernel source for m68k
Changes:
 kernel-patch-2.2.10-m68k (2.2.10-7) unstable; urgency=low
 .
   * Patches are now applied and removed according to a list of patches
read by a single apply and single unpatch script. This scheme
makes it easier for the package maintainer to add new patches, as
new patches are simply added to the list, rather than having to
add a whole new script for each patch.
   * The patches are now places in a kernel version specific sub-directory
of /usr/src/kernel-patches/m68k. To avoid conflicts with patch sets for
     other kernel versions.
   * Record of applied patches is now kept in 'debian-patch' instead of 'debian'.
This is because the make-kpkg script from the kernel-package package removes
the debian directory on non-official kernel builds making it difficult to
remove the patches if they were previously applied by hand.
   * The patch list can specify that a patch should only be applied if installed
     on a particular host architecture.
   * Added README on how to apply the patches by hand.
   * Rebuilt the patches so they all apply cleanly to the Debian kernel sources.
   * Added patch for Motorola MVME147 support.
   * Added patch to fix compilation of MVME16x without MVME167 serial driver.
   * Added MVME147 kernel config file.
   * Added patch to perform native build using gcc272.
   * Added patch to lower verbosity and remove ethernet xmit ring full
message on BVME6000 and MVME16x ethernet driver.
