Uploaded postgresql 7.0-0.beta5.1 (source i386 all) to chiark
This is release 7.0beta5 of PostgreSQL.
The upgrade procedure from 6.5.3-17 should now be fairly smooth.
If you have already installed an earlier beta of 7.0, the upgrade will
not be so smooth, because an initdb is needed, but the database
version number is the same. You may need to destroy the database
and reload it from your own dump.
If this is your case, IT IS ESSENTIAL to do your own pg_dumpall
before you start to install the package; if you ensure that
/usr/lib/postgresql/dumpall/7.0 is empty, things may go more smoothly.

* Created pg_options file (also sent upstream) with documentation included.
* Allow postgresql-dump to cope with a previous old database directory
where it wants to move the current database.
