   * Belated BugSquash NMU because my machine wouldn't boot for 1.5 days.
   * one shouldn't include files belonging to other packages without declaring
     an accurately versioned Replaces: (base-files was not replacing recent
     versions of bash and libreadlineg2 that still contained /etc/inputrc and
     /etc/profile)
   * made package description communicate more useful information
   * really removed bin/edit script
   * fix bad style in case statement in /etc/profile
   * root/dot.profile:
     - corrected bashistic comment
     - corrected "source" bashism
     - corrected path to X11 binaries
   * fixed poor English grammar in several places
