- The HTML interface now uses PNG instead of GIF images (as libgd >= 1.6
does not supprt GIF any longer)

/usr/lib/linuxconf contains a wild mix of architecture-dependent and
architecture-independent files, this will be fixed later

* [debian/linuxconf.init] Suppress netconf's output, /etc/init.d/linuxconf
in now executed at sequence code 20 instead of 99 (closes: #46625)
* [debian/update-linuxconf] Added the new modemconf module
* Added hardcoded versioned dependency for libgd1g (>= 1.6) because of the
GIF->PNG changes
* [conf.files/debian/sysv/] Renamed netbase to inetd and depend on
netbase (>=3.16-1)
* Linked against new libwxxt1 so no more dependency on libstdc++-2.9

* [netconf/start.cc] No longer check file system state as this was causing
problems with "errors=remount-ro" and mounting by label (closes: #39352)
