Description:
 emacs19 - The GNU Emacs editor.
 emacs19-el - GNU Emacs LISP (.el) files.
Changes:
 emacs19 (19.34-22) unstable; urgency=low
 .
   * rebuild with libncurses4-dev installed, because ncurses3.4 has dropped
     to "optional". closes: #32597
   * debian/control: ditch explicit liblockfile0 from Depends. closes: #24060
   * debian/postrm: suidunregister movemail. closes: #23608
   * lisp/ispell.el: add "italiano" entries, using French CASECHARS until I
     find out the right ones. [#19114] but leaving it open.
   * lisp/gnus.el: change regexp in gnus-getenv-nntpserver because ^
     matches the start of a "line", not the start of a "string", so the
     string match would *always* find the line after the newline in a
     normally edited gnus-nntpserver-file. closes: #17677
   * etc/e/eterm.ti: fix \\ in ed entry. closes: #17469
   * debian/rules: recompile eterm.ti to avoid needing binary diff in
     debian package. closes: #17469
   * lisp/man.el: default Man-switches to "-a" to get cool multi-manpage
     behaviour. closes: #16126
   * debian/README.debian: point out /usr/share/emacs/19.34/etc, to satisfy
     closes: #12677.
   * lisp/debug.el: (debug) protect the recursive edit with another layer
     of save-excursion, so the save-window-excursion happens. closes: #8467
   * lisp/term/x-win.el: add [iso-lefttab] to function-key-map. [#8467]
   * debian/gnus-setup.el: massage pathnames to compensate for gnus being
     actually part of emacs, and for bbdb and mailcrypt packages. closes: #4483
   * debian/rules: add ispell.el, gnus.el, man.el, debug.el, term/x-win.el,
     gnus-setup.el to recompilation list.
   * lisp/dired.el (dired-insert-directory): thanks to the patience of
     Michele Bini in helping me find this, dired should check LANG (in
     addition to, or perhaps instead of, LANGUAGE) in order to prevent
     locale changes from breaking the date field and thus making the
     pattern fail. Should eventually use ls --dired, but note that
     fileutils 4.0-1.1 uses a buggy builtin strftime which hides this
     anyway...
   * src/s/gnu-linux.h: don't map setpgrp to setpgid, we really have
     setpgrp in glibc 2.1.1, though we don't test for it.
   * src/systty.h: ifdef getpgrp, expect that getpgrp has args, because it
     does in glibc 2.1.1.
   * debian/rules (binary-arch): after installing, copy emacs out of the
     source tree again, because binutils strip *still* trashes it.
