Description:
ppmtofb - Display netpbm graphics on framebuffer devices
Changes:
ppmtofb (0.12) unstable; urgency=low
.
* Disabled verbose flag in fbview's calls of ppmtofb
* Various cleanups in fbview
* Changes from before ppmto(aga)fb was a Debian package are now at the end of
this changelog (as experimental). I have no idea what the correct
dates are, however. Some guesses are in brackets.
* Cleaned up and updated the README file.
* Modified debian/rules to specify which framebuffer organizations
should be built for particular architectures:
* m68k builds all supported organizations
* powerpc builds all but IPLAN2Px (which only exists on Ataris)
* All other architectures build only PACKED_PIXELS (as of 2.2.1,
no framebuffer for these architectures uses bitplanes)
* Colors that appear in the HAM color table are now pre-cached.
* New HAM color allocation algorithms taken from ppmtoilbm.
--epsilon and --exact-colors options removed.
* --grayscale should now work on truecolor/directcolor screens.
* Now requires the popt library to compile. This means:
* Reading from standard input now uses --stdin instead of - for the
option name.
* You can now use --option=x instead of --option x
* You can define aliases in $HOME/.popt, e.g.:
"ppmtofb alias --matrox --frame-buffer=/dev/fb1 --depth=16 --center"
would let you use 'ppmtofb --matrox' instead of the longer command line.
* The command line parsing is generally less hokey.
* Changed DisplayWidth to DisplayHeight in DisplayImage(); should fix
Bug#33802.
