Source: egcs1.0
Binary: libstdc++2.8 libg++2.8
Architecture: source i386
Version: 1.0.3a-1
Distribution: unstable
Urgency: low
Maintainer: J.H.M. Dassen (Ray) <jdassen@wi.LeidenUniv.nl>
Description:
 libg++2.8 - The GNU C++ extension library - old runtime version.
 libstdc++2.8 - The GNU stdc++ library (old egcs version)
Changes:
 egcs1.0 (1.0.3a-1) unstable; urgency=low
 .
   * Restructured to produce only the libstdc++2.8 and libg++2.8 packages
     which are needed for the Debian 2.1 release as backward compatibility
     libraries. The other packages that were produced from this source are no
     longer needed, as we have egcs 1.1 versions of them now.
     Building these libraries by themselves using egcs 1.1 does not work, as
     the resulting libraries miss symbols (thanks to Daniel Jacobowitz for
     trying this approach). We thus build them as part of a full egcs 1.0
     bootstrap. Admittedly, this is a very brute force approach, but it works.
   * Chanded section, priority and description accordingly.
   * Updated maintainer info.
   * Updated Standards-Version.
