Source: libproplist
Binary: libproplist0-dev libproplist0
Architecture: source i386
Version: 0.7.2-2
Distribution: unstable
Urgency: low
Maintainer: Marcelo E. Magallon <mmagallo@debian.org>
Description:
libproplist0 - PropList closely mimics the property lists found in *Step.
libproplist0-dev - C headers, static libraries and documentation for libPropList
Changes:
 libproplist (0.7.2-2) unstable; urgency=low
 .
   * Changed the file locking code to a more relaxed one. This is because:
locks are not observed during writes, just reads; according to
libc(info) read and write don't follow any locking protocol, so it's
pointless to do locking without implementing a locking protocol; as it
stands, it's impossible to use libPropList on NFS mounted volumes
because there's no decent NFS locking support on Linux. (And no,
liblockfile can't be used because the library doesn't make a
distinction between user files and system files)
