packages:
- dpkg-deb/build.c: use Optimization tag if present in preference of
Architecture tag in output package filename.
- dpkg-deb/dpkg-deb.1: documented change.
- include/dpkg-db.h: added optimization field to pkginfoperfile struct.
- lib/database.c: modified blankpackageperfile() to clear the new
optimization field.
- lib/database.c: modified informative() to display the Optimization tag.
- lib/parse.c: added the Optimization tag to the fieldinfos struct.
- scripts/dpkg-gencontrol.pl: If the DEBIAN_OPTIMIZATION environment
variable is set, add an Optimization: tag to the control file, with a
value set to the value of the environment variable.
- scripts/dpkg-gencontrol.pl: Also, name the .deb files listed in
debian/files according to the DEBIAN_OPTIMIZATION environment
variable, if it's set.
- scripts/dpkg-scanpackages.pl: Add Optimization tag to the list of tags
that are places in Packages files.
- scripts/dpkg-source.1: documented DEBIAN_OPTIMIZATION environment
variable.
- scripts/dpkg-name.sh: modified so it looks at the Optimization tag if
present and uses that instead of Architecture in the package filename.
* debian/rules: if DEBIAN_OPTIMIZATION is set, name the nondebian.tar.gz
using it.
