New gcc (2.7.2.3-4) and egcs (1.0.1-2) uploaded to master
Well, after a great deal of trial, error, frustration, and dumb luck,
I've got a new working gcc suite for Debian.
The development environment is a hybrid: we use the C/Objective-C
compiler from 2.7.2.3, and the C++ and Fortran compilers from egcs.
This seemed the best way to balance our need for a new C++ environment
with the concerns of those who didn't want to use a potentially unstable
C compiler.
I'm sorry it took so long, but it was a big job and I've been busy. I
hope this meets with approval.
