Dear all,
We would like to announce an extraordinary change in the board of
debian.ch, the Debian representative in Switzerland and the
Principality of Liechtenstein.
For reasons known to the board, Daniel Baumann stepped down from his
position as treasurer, and previous chairman Martin F. Krafft took
over. Since the bylaws do not allow the offices of treasurer and
chairman to be held by the same person, Adrian von Bidder assumed
the chair; Adrian continues to act as secretary as well.
All this is effective since 26 March 2008. We have not announced it
until now because we wanted to deal with the formalities first,
which took longer than expected.
We are going to have regular elections for the three positions at
the end of the term in December 2008.
