Hi, James Troup and AJ suggested that it would be useful if there were a way to monitor traffic on release-critical bugs only. Up until now, people trying to do this have had to wade through the very large amount of traffic on debian-bugs-dist. So, all mails sent to bugs with release-critical severities, including acknowledgements of control messages, will now be copied to a new list: debian-bugs-rc@lists.debian.org. People interested in keeping the RC bug count under control are encouraged to subscribe in the usual way and help out. Of course, the same guidelines on bug handling apply just as they always have in the past: this is here to help you find a place to start, and in the hope that RC bugs won't go unnoticed for too long. The web subscription interface is here: http://lists.debian.org/debian-bugs-rc/ Cheers, -- Colin Watson [cjwatson@debian.org]
