Status of Emacs20 ?

Emacs has at least one grave bug against it, which means that it
cannot be installed on a native potato system.  Not to mention that
20.4 has been out for several months.

I'd take a stab at fixing things, but I'm off to Italy in a week, and
I have a lot of stuff to get ready.
