Re: Depenency Bugs in Debian Packages (long)

It seems from the list that there are several architectures (such as
arm) which are behind the i386 on a few key components, such as the
XFree86 suite. This means that a large number of dependencies which
work on the i386 and on the versions in the source archive fail on
that architecture. What can be done about this?

Also, is there a way of giving an architecture dependent dependency at
present? It seems that if certain packages cannot be compiled at
present for some of the architectures, then we will continue to have
dependency problems.
