I've successfully built 2.4.20 with gcc 3.3 from unstable. I've
been running it for about a week now with no problems.

For an in-house C++ application, I had a bit of work to port it
from 3.2 to 3.3. Most of the issues where concerned with better
detection by gcc of non-standard usage. Once I fixed the code,
the application compiled cleanly and ran without problems.
