Just to whine about yet another file being written to in /etc and to ask
if blkid.tab will be very large? Doesn't sound like it, just checking.

Since you'd be adding to the /etc written stuff do you have any comment
on the thread that was on here recently about moving things which are
written to out of /etc and into somewhere else (such as /run)?

Personally I'd like to see the system-modified stuff moved out of /etc,
especially for things like this and the ifupdown state information,
these aren't things the user is expected to have any part in modifying
directly (unlike things like resolv.conf where sometimes the admin
modifies it and sometimes it's ppp or dhcp, though it'd be nice if you
could split it along that line and make it clear when it's being managed
by a system utility vs. when the user controls it).

	Thanks,

		Stephen
