NVidia and Chroot environment

I've been using Colin Walter's instructions to create a debian chroot for
testing (KDE).

I have one problem which I am struggling with - namely that I have an NVidia
card and the XServer is failing to initialise the NVidia supplied driver
module in the chroot environment.

I can change over to using the inbuilt "nv" driver - but in order to do that I
have to do it for both the chroot environment and my main environment
otherwise my machine locks solid when I switch screens. However it seems to
not work properly - the cursor is all wrong (too small and duplicated about
1cm away to the right).

Has anyone either got the nvidia module (NVidia supplied) to work in this dual
environment or the nv module (XFree supplied) to sort out the cursor problem
(is this a bug I should raise a report for?).
