I don't know how well-established the name 'mls' is upstream, but it certainly
does nothing to suggest its function to me - and it seems inappropriate for
a fairly inconsequential program/package to be pinching such a short name
anyway.

I'm not quite sure I see how this is going to confuse people, though. I
wouldn't expect a package called 'mls' to give me anything related to the
TLA, probably because the TLA seems more of an adjective than a noun (although
I'm sure merketeers (hmmm, typo... I think I like it, though -- dodgy 'merkin
marketing types...) could abuse it in such a way as to make it appear more
like a noun -- 'Now With MLS'...).
