First of all i think there was already a ITP for giFT.
Because i replied and suggested a Name Change.
There is a separate GNU Software called gift (that probably will be
longer of use than FastTrack...) which is the
GNU Image Finding Tool (located on gnu.org)

I'd love to try that, but i hadn't had the time to install it myself.
