What about global keybindings settings ?
I think that it would be nice to have:
a single debconf question that would make all programs where it is
configurable use Emacs/Windoze/Vi/Whatever keybindings by default.
Of course individual users will still be able to override it.
Direct cause of this email is Gtk2's recent choice to use Windoze
keybindings by default. Why some people may like them, many others
will just have to reconfigure their ~/.gtkrc-2.0 by hand.
Debconf question that would take care of Gtk2 and all other apps
would make that much easier.
