Why? You haven't offered any reasons. Certainly not for support of
stable servers, because our current system leads to a situation where we
drop old distributions like a hot potato (parden the pun) because they
are so out of date that no one wants to deal with them. Maybe with a
shorter release cycle that has less divergence between releases we could
actually support an overlap to allow people time to upgrade--wouldn't
that be nice for servers?
