DEBIAN_FRONTEND env.var case sensitivity
Hi,
It was discussed in IRC some days ago, and someone seemed
to have noticed it and mass-filed bugs in a wrong way,
I would like people to know that currently there is a skew in
handling DEBIAN_FRONTEND.
debconf manpage documents that DEBIAN_FRONTEND=noninteractive
makes noninteractive installs.
However, many postinst, and some programs (e.g. FAI)
use DEBIAN_FRONTEND=Noninteractive, and do not work along.
Can we fix this?
regards,
junichi
