yes, now that most of the other python modules that other packages
depend on, are uploaded. Please send me a note, if you want to file
the reports.

why not re-asking, if the explanation was incomplete?

lyx only uses python for some scripts and does not compile any python
modules. Therefore, the unversioned dependency is correct. If a
package contains python modules, which get compiled, or if the package
depends on features available in one version only, the package must
depend on a specific python version.
