That's quite true. We are, however, specifically discussing the editor
in the base system and installation floppies which will be used for
editing configuration files in emergencies and other situations where
a more fully featured editor isn't available. For this, the editor's
default must be to not wrap lines unless the user asks it to.
We could have two versions of nano-tiny, with different defaults regarding
this, if we want to use it all (I have no opinion on whether we should
use it).
