If someone can point me to the Linux-port of fRaBs, then maybe I could. I
don't know how much they have changed the sources, but it would be very nice
to combine fRaBs with the SDL-port (probably not possible, but I'll take a
look).

I downloaded and tested it. Works very nicely. Some problems with the
framebuffer-stuff, but nothing serious. I'm in the process of contacting the
author right now. If license-issues permit, I will package this.
