Just to let you know, I'm linking the package "mailsync" here against:

$ ls -l /usr/lib/libc-client.so
lrwxrwxrwx    1 root     root           19 Dec 11 14:51 /usr/lib/libc-client.so-> libc-client.so.2000

and mailsync does work well here so far.
