Re: Packages to give away

Hello. I've sent this to you (Joop) already, but I forgot to cc debian-devel, so I'm doing that now before anyone else jumps up and grabs this. Anyway, I'd like for you to keep glimmer on hold for me, Joop, if you wouldn't mind. I've been programming alot lately, and this looks like a useful tool, something that I could use. I've also used debian for about 2 years (well, at least since hamm was released), and have had my share of experience with package building and configuration, so it'd be cool to take this over. I've applied for developership already online at debian.org, and I'll be needing some packages to start maintaining ;). Thanks. Now I just need to get someone to accept my application :).

I would like to give away 2 packages, because I want to focus on
hamradio packages again. They are:

Glimmer, Description: Programmer's editor with multiple windows and syntax
highlighting. Glimmer is a code editor for most POSIX compliant operating
systems, makes use of the Gtk+ widget set and the GNOME libraries.
The purpose of this program is to provide programmers with a single
application that can take care of all their programming needs.

Telegnome: Description: A graphical teletext viewer
TeleGNOME is a program to display teletext pages over the
internet. As of this moment, the teletext feeds from
the Netherlands, Hungary, Denmark, Finland and Turkey
 are known to work.

Both packages are bugfree.
Please Cc to me, I am not on the list at the moment.
