ITP: ipaudit

Package: wnpp
Severity: normal

>From the ipaudit webpage (http://www.sp.uconn.edu/%7Ejrifkin/ipaudit/):
IPAUDIT listens to a network device in promiscuous mode, and records of
every 'connection', each conversation between two ip addresses. A unique
connection is determined by the ip addresses of the two machines, the
protocol used between them and the port numbers (if they are communicating
via udp or tcp).

I am packaging the current beta, which includes useful cron scripts and neat
little perl scripts for analyzing. The packaging should be made more
interesting by the author's apparent decision to provide instructions on
installation rather than trying to provide scripts to automatically figure
stuff out (read: Makefiles don't even have install rules). On the other
hand, it should be a fun experience.
