If, as recent posts suggest, debian considers its reputation, then not
releasing with 2.2.15 final is undesirable to debian. Reason: we would
get laughed at :)

If it's so unconsequential and the above is satisfied, then it would
be smart to prepare such kernel-image-2.2.15 debs -now-. Then if release
mgr says go, we can say "here".
