Hi again, Cyril Brulebois <kibi@debian.org> (2025-05-15): > (Keeping in mind I didn't start any installation tests yet…) seeing how > the gap between testing and unstable is 13.0.0~pre1 → 13.0.2, would it > make sense to have 13.0.2 in testing right now, so that it gets more > exposure right away? > > > I'd need a answer before 10:00Z (ideally, but I know it's not far > away), or 16:00Z (last chance!) so as not to delay the debian-cd builds > (assuming the src:debian-installer part isn't delayed for any reasons). > > Otherwise, don't fret! There's always D-I Trixie RC 2. ;) I'm really not fond of not waiting for an answer from the maintainers, but seeing how I'm greeted with a “debian 12” text at the bottom of GDM after installing the default desktop, the needle just moved to “let's have that in testing now”. I'm waiting a few more hours in case someone pops up asking me not to have it in D-I Trixie RC 1, but it's likely I'll line this up for the 4:00Z or 10:00Z britney run. Sorry for the eleventh hour question in any case… Cheers, -- Cyril Brulebois (kibi@debian.org) <https://debamax.com/> D-I release manager -- Release team member -- Freelance Consultant
