Bug#772417: desktop-base: debian/copyright file needs to be updated

Package: desktop-base
Version: 8.0.0~exp1
Severity: serious
Tags: patch
Justification: Policy 4.5

Hello,
I revised the debian/copyright file currently present on the repository:
https://anonscm.debian.org/viewvc/debian-desktop/packages/trunk/desktop-base/debian/copyright?revision=336&view=markup

I noticed that there are some things to be updated.
First of all, the Lines theme seems to be based on the Debian “Open Use”
Logo (with the “Debian” label), rather than on the logo without the
“Debian” label.

This creates the necessity to document the license of both the
Debian “Open Use” Logos.

Therefore, I prepared the attached patch for the copyright file.
Please apply it as soon as possible, provided that you agree with it,
of course.

Moreover, while preparing the patch, I noticed an unfortunate issue
with the licensing of the Lines theme: Juliette kindly dual-licensed
it under the terms of the GNU GPL v2.
But the GNU LGPL v3 (which is the license adopted for Debian “Open Use”
Logo with the “Debian” label) is incompatible with the GNU GPL v2.
I think we have to ask Juliette to add the "or later" option to the
dual-license: if she dual-licenses her theme under the GNU GPL v2 or
later, we may dodge the incompatibility issue.
I am going to get in touch with Juliette soon, if you do not have
objections.

Thanks for working on the desktop-base package!
Bye.
