I am giving up.

I hope someone else will be luckier than me in getting in touch with
David Vignoni (in Cc)...

The current status is summarized below.

I talked with Nuno Pinheiro (also in Cc) on March 2011.
Thanks to Nuno, we managed to (almost) reconstruct the copyright and
permission notice for the KDE Official Oxygen Logo.
The current "draft" is:

| KDE Official Oxygen Logo
| Copyright (C) <years> David Vignoni and Nuno Pinheiro
|
| This library is free software; you can redistribute it and/or
| modify it under the terms of the GNU Lesser General Public

| but WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY; without even the implied warranty of

| MA 02110-1301 USA
|
|
| Nuno Pinheiro politely requests (but does not impose) that the logo
| be not used in unaltered form for an unrelated product (such as a
| bubble bath, for instance).

The only missing thing is the correct year(s) for the copyright notice.
Nuno does not remember, unfortunately.

Starting from April 2011, I repeatedly tried to get in touch with David
Vignoni (leaving Nuno in Cc), hoping that he could maybe remember the
years during which he and Nuno worked on the logo.
Unfortunately, I have never received any reply from David.
I have received no more replies from Nuno, either.

As I said above, I am giving up.
I am publicly disclosing the current status, in the hope that someone
else may jump in and make the final step to finally solve this issue:
discover the years during which Nuno and David worked on the logo.

Bye.
