I'm no regular contributor of -desktop but, if no one else is stepping up to do that, I'm willing to help. At the same time, I don't want to step on anybody's toes, so if someone else would like to do that, please say so. I'll be more than happy to step aside :-) As a first step, I think we need to understand whether there is consensus on the idea of sending out a call for artwork proposals. I think it's a good idea so I'll try to work with the -publicity team to make it real. If anyone here is against, please speak up and state your reasons. Assuming we will go ahead with the above, we need a landing page. Valessio: can you please double check [1] and see if it contains everything that is needed? Also, I think it'd be pretty discouraging for potential applicants to land up on a page like [1] and finding it empty of any proposal. How about submitting the Squeeze artwork as a legacy proposal for Wheezy? That would help understand the shape of a proposal and help applicants feeling less "lonely" :) What do you think?
