Package: desktop-base Version: 6.0.2 Severity: normal After today's upgrade of desktop-base, in GDM remained the old moreblue-orbit background. In fact, in /usr/share/gdm/greeter-config/10_desktop-base we have: /desktop/gnome/background/picture_filename /usr/share/images/desktop-base /login-background.svg /desktop/gnome/background/picture_options zoom but, in /usr/share/gdm/greeter-config/20_debian, we can read # Use a specific background /desktop/gnome/background/picture_filename /usr/share/images/desktop-base /moreblue-orbit-gdm.svg /desktop/gnome/background/picture_options stretched In my other PCs with sid, however, the background of gdm was regularly updated and, accordingly, in /usr/share/gdm/greeter-config/20_debian, we can read # Use a specific background /desktop/gnome/background/picture_filename /usr/share/images/desktop-base /login-background.svg /desktop/gnome/background/picture_options zoom I never changed those files by hand and also I note, on my machines with sid, the lack of /usr/share/images/desktop-base/moreblue-orbit-gdm.svg file. Ciao and thanks a lot for all your efforts! Wait for the gdm upgrade which will update the config and use the correct background. Regards, -- Yves-AlexisAttachment: signature.asc
