I'm not sure. usplash didn't work on two of my boxes last time I tried.
I didn't yet report any bugs, but I'm not sure we (as debian-desktop
team) should take responsibility to have usplash installed on each and
every debian desktop, especially if it doesn't work everywhere.
(besides that, if everybody agreeds too, I wont fight against, I still
think it would be a good idea, if it worked everywhere)
