Bug#502368: desktop-base: Need larger background images

Package: desktop-base
Version: 5.0.1
Severity: wishlist

I just bought a 24" monitor on sale, and found that the background
images in 'desktop-base' are not large enough to fit its native
resolution (1920x1200) without stretching. I don't mind stretching
the bg image, but I would like to see something that either fits
perfectly or can be shrunk to fit.
