Compiz error

Currently I install compiz, trying to run 3d; but when executing  fusion-icon, the tile bar of applications will disappear. For instance, the gnome-terminal will be fixed on the left corner of the window. Then I can not drag and drop or move the terminal to other position in the window (e.g. down right in the corner.)

The message out is as follow:

 * Detected Session: gnome
 * Searching for installed applications...
 * No GLX_EXT_texture_from_pixmap with direct rendering context
 ... present with indirect rendering, exporting: LIBGL_ALWAYS_INDIRECT=1
 * Using the GTK Interface
 * Starting Compiz
 ... executing: compiz.real --replace --sm-disable --ignore-desktop-hints ccp --loose-binding --indirect-rendering

compiz.real (core) - Error: Failed to manage screen: 0

and

(gtk-window-decorator:3999): Gdk-WARNING **: Using Cairo rendering requires the drawable argument to
have a specified colormap. All windows have a colormap,
however, pixmaps only have colormap by default if they
were created with a non-NULL window argument. Otherwise
a colormap must be set on them with gdk_drawable_set_colormap

What might cause this problem?

I appreciate any suggestion. Thank you very much.

The environment I use is debian lenny testing ( kernel 2.6.24.2/ fusion-icon-0.0.0/  metacity 2.22.0 )
