Hi,

I am not sure whether it is already raised, but it was not there as
of beta 3. It would be nice if soundcard is already configured for
default desktop if a sound card is detected. Most of the distros does
it these days and it is a bit annoying to run alsaconfig manually.

Hi Praveen,

Actually the soundcard (if properly detected) is configured for the
default desktop environment. Please note that just the first user that
you've created during the installation will be able to play audio. If
you're trying with a second user, add him/her in the group audio, if
not please test with a newer image, maybe the current weekly snapshot
of testing[0]. RC1 is right around the corner, btw.
