Re: can we find a Debian solution for Bootsplash?
This sounds odd to me.
I'm using Sarge (exclusively. no Sid in it) and Splashy works like a
charm for me.
I have signed packages in http://www.kiskeyix.org/downloads/debian if
you want to try those. You can put a line like this in your
sources.list file:
deb http://www.kiskeyix.org/downloads/debian local main
deb-src http://www.kiskeyix.org/downloads/debian local main
And follow the mantra:
apt-get update
apt-get install splashy
